LOOKING AFTER 300 BABIES IS NOT EASY !!!

In this video I cover these and show how the tadpoles are progressing, Please watch this if you are interested in learning a bit more about it…….

Why I’m taking tadpoles OUT of my pond!
Просмотров 3495 месяцев назад
I live in an island site with roads all the way round and only have a tiny amount of frogs, possibly only one female. Therefore each year I get the just one clump from the same frogs which eventually will cause problems with genetic diversity so I’ve decided to take some frogspawn out this year, mix it with other frogspawn from local ponds to create more diversity and help them grow to early ma...
Beautiful Pipefish Found Washed Up & Dying On The Beach….
Просмотров 855 месяцев назад
We found this beautiful little fella on the sand 200 feet above the shoreline and assumed it had died but when I picked it up I saw movement. We then put it in some seawater while we foraged a bucket from the tideline plastic. We could already see that its strength was returning! We then walked for about a mile and found a larger rock-pool near the sea where it would be safe until the tide came...
Dolphin swims over to kayak to say hello…

I spotted this Bottlenose Dolphin parallel to us about 150m away and then literally a few seconds later it was right there so must have seen us and change direction. Then, a few moments after s...

Heather Is Fantastic For Bees Short Video #shorts #short

    Managed to get some finally, they're going into a water feature without sticklebacks and bird safe. My girlfriend and I have lost all our large Great Ramshorn snails to the birds. I've manage to save the tiny young from a water trough I have for the birds to drink. I'm making a habitat to bring on the froglets so they're out of danger from ants, my meadow is full of ant nets.

I have thrown various leaves that people say are edible for humans in with them, but the only one they seemed to be interested in was the plantain - the kind that grows in cracks in concrete. Really trying to find these red albino Great Ramshorn, want to start a breeding colony and share with the locals. Had them years ago, I think the fish ate the young so they died off. I remember the jackdaws used to lift them out of the pond. Maybe because of the red parts, they didn't eat them. I'd jut put them back. I had a fish free pond now and also built one at my girlfriends. She's got her first frog spawn this spring, pond dug in lockdown.

      @Calastein 5 месяцев назад

      …it’s illegal (as it should be) to sell it. I absolutely wouldn’t suggest doing this unless you know what you’re doing and if it benefits the local area. You have to be really careful that you don’t mix spawn from too far away (mine is from very local wildlife ponds) because it can actually be detrimental in that you’re spreading disease and possibly non-native plants etc. but I’ve been really careful about all of this. There are many species of small white spiders, and not all of them are poisonous. In fact, most spiders are not dangerous to humans. However, it is always a good idea to be cautious around spiders and avoid touching them, especially if you are not familiar with the species. If you are concerned about a particular spider, it is best to contact a local pest control or wildlife expert for advice.
